Gourmet Temptations is the vision of John and Earle Davidson Gibson. Their collaboration with their son Clint Cook (trained chef and graduate of the California Culinary Academy and associated with Le Cordon Bleu) has helped bring this vision to fruition.
Before bringing her talents to the food industry, "Mama" Earle spent many years as the owner of a successful marketing company and a licensed real estate broker. Originally from Mississippi, Earle started learning at an early age the art of cooking and baking with her mother. Over the years, she has developed many recipes and has her first cookbook in the works. You will find her delectable goodies under the label "Mama Earle's So Sweet Sauces".
Clint is our resident chef and food editor. Before coming aboard full-time at Gourmet Temptations, he was a chef at PIXAR Studios in Emeryville, California. His vast, thirty-year experience in restaurant management, catering, and recipe development has made GT what it is today. Clint continues to bring mouth watering recipes to the kitchen, and we're very proud to share these flavors with you, under his label "Daddy Cook's".
John B. Gibson, former career Professional Naval Officer and Aviator, is GT's business and operations manager. He's traveled the world extensively, experiencing many cultures, cuisines and specialty foods, and directed several successful businesses. Along with his sales, finance and technology background, John oversees Gourmet Temptations' daily activities and overall business direction.
Our family continues to work diligently to bring you the finest mustards and sauces found anywhere on both sides of the Mississippi River. Thank you for visiting us, and y'all come on back, ya hear!
E.E. "Honey" Davidson (aka Big Daddy to his grand chillin') was our inspiration in bringing great Southern flavors and recipes to your table. Known county-wide for his amazing smoked sausages, as well as an active Shriner, Big Daddy not only gave us the love and patience us kids needed, he also taught us how to be humble, simple folks. Found tending his backyard smoker most every Sunday, with his "one beer" and welcome smile, we always think about Big Daddy when we're in the kitchen stirring up something new and delicious.
For over 15 years, we've strived to make our selection of gourmet products from the finest ingredients. No fillers. No preservatives. No BS. All of Gourmet Temptations mustard and sauce blends are made right here in the good ol' U.S. of A... in beautiful Lake Oswego, Oregon.
